The ability of an LA to administer HB and CTB claims securely, effectively and efficiently depends on good working relationships with outside agencies such as Jobcentre Plus, The Pension Service, DWP’s Counter Fraud Investigation Service (CFIS), etc. R & B Solutions promote liaison as a key element of effective investigations and maximising subsidy and will:
- Promote linked working to maximize profile and sanction subsidy gains
- Ensure the Fraud Partnership Agreement with CFIS has been signed by appropriate parties
- Demonstrate commitment to joint working by pro-actively engaging in joint counter-fraud initiatives
- Tailor the locally agreed service standards to meet local circumstances
- Set targets for continuous performance improvement
- Monitor performance against the locally agreed service standards
- Take appropriate action defined in the Fraud Partnership Agreement if standards are not met
- Ensure ongoing and correct use of FPA documents
